Resume Writing in 4 Steps

STEP ONE:  UPLOAD YOUR RESUME

To get started, let us know on our online form if you have an existing resume or need a new one created. 

If you have a current resume you can upload it from your text files, your linkedin profile or simply paste your resume into our dialogue box.

No resume?  No problem!  We’re experts at writing first resumes as well as more seasoned ones. You will give us the information you need when you fill out the online questionnaire.

Next, the online information form will ask you for basic contact information.  Be sure to give the best telephone number to reach you since you will soon be contacted directly by the resume writer.   

Then, the form will ask some soul searching questions, like what job titles and industries you are planning to apply for, and what your biggest concerns are about your resume.  This information will help the writer tailor the resume to your specific needs and ultimately, get that interview!

STEP TWO:  MAKE THE PAYMENT

Payment must be made before we can work on the resume. We accept VISA, MasterCard and American Express as well as PayPal. The cost of a basic resume is only $69.90, an incredible industry value for a quality resume delivered within a 72- hour period.

STEP THREE: INTERACT WITH OUR PROFESSIONAL RESUME WRITER 

Soon after receiving your order, our Professional Resume Writer will contact you to discuss your resume.   He/she will want to discuss the information you provided on the online questionnaire in more detail as well as ask specific questions about your career history and your prior employers. (Think of it as a practice job interview but without the pressure!)

This is the time to reveal your hopes and dreams for your resume to the resume writer.  For example, you may have something you want to emphasize or de-emphasize. You may want to use certain words to describe your achievements. You may have an idea for a specific format. The more information you can give the resume writer about your overall expectations of their work, the better they can ultimately deliver the perfect resume for you. 

STEP FOUR: RECEIVE YOUR RESUME!

Unless you have opted for rush service, you will receive your resume via email within 72 hours.  It will be delivered in two formats: PDF and .DOC. 

Then, send it on to the employer of your choice and start picking out your interview outfit.  You should hear from them soon!
